Stupid busy ....

Totally & utterly stupid busy ... yes I know it's not good english, but I don't care on this occasion, it says exactly what I mean :D Soo many things on the go, two deadlines to get done in the next week, stuff in the middle of being made for folksy, workshop stuff ... nevermind Christmas, I haven't got time for that yet ! NEC update & NEW Stamps !!

So, finally return to my blog after a VERY busy 4 days at the NEC, I must have made about 150 tags in that time ... the ink is still staining my fingers lol :D I met some absolutely fab people, some new & some old friends, good to see them all. I've taken a few pics of a handful of tags that weren't given away to share with you.

This one has the Tim Holtz Cog & Bird sizzix Die-cuts, plus my very own hot off the press New stamps ... these were taken from the "Rooted in Earth" set. Find that Here Next we have this one :

This one has the T.Holtz Dress makers Sizzix die on it , some T.Holtz Trimmings and stamps Then we have this one :

This has my new cogs, splatters and Phone dial from my "Little bits of Randomness" set find that Here This 4th one is stamped with LittleBigTree's Enchanted Sea Fantasy set find that one Here

NEW workshops online now !

Hurrah, finally found a new venue nearby and it's a really quirky little building, hopefully you'll all love it as much as me ! Anyone going to thr NEC next week ?

Busy getting ready for the NEC next week .. is anyone going ? Do come and see me if you are, I shall be demonstrating on the Artist Trading post stand B41 at the NEC From Thursday 3rd November until Sunday 6th November. I can't wait ..and always I shall be taking some ATC's with me to trade, so if you make ATC's and fancy making a swap come on over :o) Make sure you tell me who you are if you follow this blog ... you don't all look like your avatars lol :D I shall be demo'ing lot's of lovely Ranger products and of course I will be showcasing my own Creative Journey Stamps too ! Better go and make a list of what I need to take ! See you there x

Hello .... so much happening again behind the scenes ...

... I don't seem to have much time to tell you about it all ! Well I've finally made it on so I can give you a few sneak peeks & bits of news. Hmmm, where to start, well there's new workshops in the pipeline, there's a sneaky peek below of just one of them, they should ( should !) be on the website

by the end of this month ... so I'm busy arranging venues and dates at the moment !

What can I say ... this pictures clue is Ranger ..lot's of it & over a weekend !

Oh my goodness .... I'm back !

Yep, it seems I'm finally getting better, I've made it back to blogland ! For those who don't know why I've been AWOL, An unexpected 10 day stint in the hospital with Kidney stones, Kidney drain, Ruptured kidney, urosepsis etc etc has had me in it's grasp, fortunately I've been home recovering for the last 2 weeks and am finally starting to feel like myself again, it's not all over yet, I still have the drain & the stones and will be having a few more visits to the hospital to sort it all out ! .. But that I can live with now that I am feeling so much better.
So, I managed (with a lot of help from my wonderful family) to keep the Art Journaling weekend on course, it's just taken me a couple of weeks to get it on here.
so without further ado here's what we got up to :

As you can see it was another busy weekend, everyone was just fab, I wasn't allowed to do a thing apart from teach, so thank you to everyone for your understanding & fun ... it made me feel soooo much better just being there with you all :D x

I have another place to recommend you go have a look ... Crafting Ireland It's a beautiful online magazine with some fantastic tutorials and idea's ...Timi one of the editors came to the art journaling workshop and introduced me to this brilliant site, so please do go & have a look, you wont be disapointed ! :D x

Another Circus Post ....

As promised another circus themed post, this time I've been using them on an art journal page, I created a pocket on this page & had fun inking up some tags ... here's what I made

Using my Circus Stamps ...

So, I decided it was time I had another play with my own brand of stamps "Stamps for the Creative Journey" This time I chose to use the Circus set. There are some fab stamps on here, I think the elephant & the uni-cyclist are my fav's though the dogs pretty cute too !

I decided to make a Tag book (a la Tim Holtz style) I love these little books, they have so many uses.
I made my books from Graphic 45 papers Le Cirque Flying High and Magnifique

I also created lot's of tags to go in the pockets, all ready for photo's or journaling or maybe both ...

I finished off the front with stamped images of the tickets, one behind a Facet
and one stamped on to a tag cut out with a Sizzix die I added a Washer over the hole and attached both pieces to some bead chain using jump rings.

Hope you like it, there's another circus stamp project coming very soon !

Back from my Holidays ....

I have returned from 12 very sunny days in S'agaro Spain, with more journal pages completed after spending most days lazing round the pool or on the beach (it's a hard life ...)
So here's some of the pages that I played with whilst I was there

Off to have a quick tidy up of the studio so Saskia my daughter can come play with her art journal (school project) & then I really need to be getting on with some more projects I have lined up ... see you soon, thanks for stopping by :D x
