Hey, sorry I've not been on here, struggling to get my photo's from previous workshops off my ipad and onto here ! I'm sure i'll work it out when i have more time ! March Scrapbooking Workshop...

Introducing some of the brilliant work that was produced on Saturday 24th March 2012...
These creative ladies spent their Saturday learning new layout styles, designs and techniques and finding new ways to preserve memories in the form of... You guessed it! Scrapbooking. :o)
It looks like everyone who attended had as much of a creative and relaxing a day as we did. The work they created was beautiful! Well done everyone! :o)

Art Journal weekend ... few places left !

first come, first served we have a few places left on Aprils Art Journal weekend workshop ! We're going to be doing 'everything' you can possibly imagine to your art journal ... from simple to complex backgrounds, unique ideas to make your journal more interesting and individual, using lots of different mediums, techniques and designs. Everything you need for the weekend, your journal, the products and tools are included. We also provide all your refreshments and lunches for both days. It doesn't matter whether you are a complete newbie to art journaling, or even to crafting, or whether you've already dabbled .. we will have lot's of exciting things to share with you!

Abandoned but NOT Forgotten !!

Ok, I know I seem to start all my blog posts with an apology about not having been on here .. but really truely I have a good excuse this time :D I'm busy being Director for a new business we(me & DH) are opening. It really is all hands on deck, so have been just a little pre-occupied employing staff, decorating the shop and office, readying the other parts, getting involved in ordering stock ... will hopefully be getting my crane lift license soon too lol :D .. sorry as you're probably gathering it's a long way from Arty crafty things ! .. a builders and landscape merchants is the order of the day. We've been really lucky and have found ourselves some fantastic staff who are helping us set up, so I will be back on here hopefully with some regularity soon ! .. I have a workshop on Saturday, we shall be scrapping all day .. I am looking forward to that ! will try & post some of the photo's from that, I will also try and post pics from the UTEE workshop a couple of weeks ago, particularly of the wonderful present one of my brilliant ladies made me :D

No peace for the wicked ! ...

It's almost Valentines day & I've just realised I've not made(or bought a card yet !) ... Hmmmm! Well I have an excuse or two, we've just had a Ranger Weekend Workshop, a group of 11 lovely ladies, lot's of Ranger product goodness & much hard work, mixed up with a good dose of fun & laughter :D

I've also been busy making Samples for the Trade fair Stitches at the NEC next week, I'm lucky enough to be demo'ing one of my favourite'st brands 7 Gypsies there for 2 days ... I can't wait ! I'll take some pictures & share those with you very soon !
Another lovely thing that has happened to me recently was last night, there I was pottering about on Facebook when I suddenly saw a card, made by the lovely Karen Hirons, using my Rooted in Earth stamp set ! :D I was well chauffed & she says I can share it with you guys on here, so here it is ! New workshops up now !

So, I finally got around to getting new workshops up online, there are a few new ones, just waiting for confirmation of some more dates and I will be releasing a couple of repeats .. UTEE/Meltpot & Ranger weekend, so watch the website for more workshops as they are released ...
New ones include the Altered Technique Tag book ..I get the impression this one might fill up fast lol, We will be starting on a friday evening, over a glass of wine and some chocolate .. we will be altering a book , creating technique tags to go in it and writing on the opposite page of the book all about the actual technique, so how cool will that be ! tags, techniques and an altered book. So you get to do Friday evening, all day saturday 10-4 and all day suinday 10-4 too ! There is even a really nice B&B right across the road ... talk about making things easy !

Just remember that our new venue is smaller and so workshops fill up more quickly !

Still got spaces ...

Just a quick blog to say that the UTEE workshop & the Ranger Workshop are now fully booked, But there are spaces on Altered Scrapbook Workshop, which is on Saturday 14th January. 10 - 4pm. The Price is £30.00

So,what is it ? ... this is no ordinary scrapbook, we upcycle an old hardback book, we add papers, paints and inks, we fold, tear and create, we add the photographs, journal & embellish. You get to start your very own totally unique altered scrapbook.
All you need to provide are the photographs ... a good selection is recommended, it is often easier to work the book on a theme, whether it's a holiday or a see your child / family grow book. If you have memorabilia or anything else that is related to your photographs please bring it along with you. and you will need to bring your lunch with you.
Tea, Coffee, Juice & snacks are provided.
All tools, kit & product are provided.

Back with tales of workshops & nativity scenery

It's been a busy few weeks (again) just for a change ! My folksy shop has sold out except for 2 items, can't get enough time to get more done either ... School nativity scenery was painted, almost finished, rained on, washed off and re-painted again last week, and of course there were the last two workshops which were Junque Journal and Configurations box. I'll keep the writing short & sweet and instead share some pictures of the goings on :D The calm before the junque :

Stupid busy ....

Totally & utterly stupid busy ... yes I know it's not good english, but I don't care on this occasion, it says exactly what I mean :D Soo many things on the go, two deadlines to get done in the next week, stuff in the middle of being made for folksy, workshop stuff ... nevermind Christmas, I haven't got time for that yet ! NEC update & NEW Stamps !!

So, finally return to my blog after a VERY busy 4 days at the NEC, I must have made about 150 tags in that time ... the ink is still staining my fingers lol :D I met some absolutely fab people, some new & some old friends, good to see them all. I've taken a few pics of a handful of tags that weren't given away to share with you.

This one has the Tim Holtz Cog & Bird sizzix Die-cuts, plus my very own hot off the press New stamps ... these were taken from the "Rooted in Earth" set. Find that Here Next we have this one :

Hurrah, finally found a new venue nearby and it's a really quirky little building, hopefully you'll all love it as much as me ! Anyone going to thr NEC next week ?

Busy getting ready for the NEC next week .. is anyone going ? Do come and see me if you are, I shall be demonstrating on the Artist Trading post stand B41 at the NEC From Thursday 3rd November until Sunday 6th November. I can't wait ..and always I shall be taking some ATC's with me to trade, so if you make ATC's and fancy making a swap come on over :o) Make sure you tell me who you are if you follow this blog ... you don't all look like your avatars lol :D I shall be demo'ing lot's of lovely Ranger products and of course I will be showcasing my own Creative Journey Stamps too ! Better go and make a list of what I need to take ! See you there x

Hello .... so much happening again behind the scenes ...

... I don't seem to have much time to tell you about it all ! Well I've finally made it on so I can give you a few sneak peeks & bits of news. Hmmm, where to start, well there's new workshops in the pipeline, there's a sneaky peek below of just one of them, they should ( should !) be on the website

by the end of this month ... so I'm busy arranging venues and dates at the moment !

What can I say ... this pictures clue is Ranger ..lot's of it & over a weekend !
