So I finally have got my first page for the chunky fat book done ... this one is called "Enchanted" I chose to do a doorway with an image of an enchanted place behind it ... I like to use things such as the charms just to add some interest ...
I used Distress inks on paper for the background, chipboard as a base, the door is made from card which I used Tim Holtz crackle paint on (in antique linen) I used grunge board for the hinges ..this too was painted in crackle paint (brushed pewter)
I added large brads to keep it in place. I used a Clarity stamp called sprig to add a little more detail to the background & gold embossing powder around the edges.
The door knob is from another of the T.Holtz idea-ology range.
