Good morning :o)
Ok this is about as messy as I can bear to let my desk get, but as you see I have completed the 3 teachers leavers presents, the smaller two items are going to school today & the bigger scrapbook is going tomorrow ... so Jobs a good 'un !
So next job is to clear my desk to start prepping for the altered book workshop that we have in a couple of weeks time, unless I succumb to the pile of housework that has been calling my name ever since I got back from Ranger U, seems almost pointless with the kids breaking up on friday, but if I don't do it now it will be harder with them at home making more mess I suppose ... Hmmm maybe I'll do some house work & some playing .. there that sounds like a plan ! Have a good wednesday x (oh & if you wonder why I'm sharing my mess with you well here's where to find out more : HERE

ReplyDeleteooo well done on getting your gifts finished, they will be much appreciated. love your background, I had another one of hers for the past 2 years but fancied a change the other day, wish I hadn't started lol took me ages.
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks pretty organised to me, full yes, but still organised! Love your ribbons stored in jars - perhaps I should do that, esp as my little un has discovered my box of ribbons and enjoys pulling them all out all over the floor! x

This is the third time I've been here today and was finally able to post a comment. I even rebooted once. I'm really curious about your AB class. Are you teaching it? Is it a Ranger U thing? I know! I'm curious when it comes to ABs. Happy WOYWW.

Just noticed your jars ....do they contain only trimmings in each colour or all embelishments of one colour. As for housework ...clean and tidy a bit bfore the kids are let loose on you and then forget it until they go back ...at some point it get no worse lol xx
ReplyDeleteHello :o) ... thanks everyone for all your lovely comments the teachers loved their gifts so all effort well worth it :o)
ReplyDeleteAngie the jars just have my ribbons in, I have a different jar for all the different colours & one separate one for fibres. :D
Bleubeard & Elizabeth .. The altered book workshop is one of my workshops that I teach, it's a new one on the list but we're all sold out, am going to have to relist it in the autumn I think ! lol :D .. It's not a Ranger U thing though most of my workshops do have Ranger U techniques in them anyway, but I'll be posting pictures of the workshop when we've done it so you'll be able to see what everyone did :o) x
one of my favourate fridge magnets (it's hard to see our fridge door) is ' cleaning the house whilst the kids are still growing is like clearing the path whilst it's still snowing)
ReplyDeletemy advice? quit whilst you are behind & craft instead...
That looks very interesting, loads going on and very tempting to explore further !
ReplyDeleteLots of yumminess to espy here!
