Oh my goodness .... I'm back !

Yep, it seems I'm finally getting better, I've made it back to blogland ! For those who don't know why I've been AWOL, An unexpected 10 day stint in the hospital with Kidney stones, Kidney drain, Ruptured kidney, urosepsis etc etc has had me in it's grasp, fortunately I've been home recovering for the last 2 weeks and am finally starting to feel like myself again, it's not all over yet, I still have the drain & the stones and will be having a few more visits to the hospital to sort it all out ! .. But that I can live with now that I am feeling so much better.
So, I managed (with a lot of help from my wonderful family) to keep the Art Journaling weekend on course, it's just taken me a couple of weeks to get it on here.
so without further ado here's what we got up to :










As you can see it was another busy weekend, everyone was just fab, I wasn't allowed to do a thing apart from teach, so thank you to everyone for your understanding & fun ... it made me feel soooo much better just being there with you all :D x

I have another place to recommend you go have a look ... Crafting Ireland It's a beautiful online magazine with some fantastic tutorials and idea's ...Timi one of the editors came to the art journaling workshop and introduced me to this brilliant site, so please do go & have a look, you wont be disapointed ! :D x

    Oh my! I had no idea, I just thought you were mega- busy! Hope you are recovered now and resting up nicely. Looks like a great event though... everyone was very busy and productive.

    I had no idea you had been so ill ...kept looking for a post to show up but thought you were busy. What a time ...you must have been in agony ...I know my son was just with tiny stones.
    You all look as though you have had agreat time at your AJ Weekend ...wish there was something like that nearish....coz I dont drive.

    Thank you Anneliese for a fab weekend, it was good to see you doing what you love and not stuck in stinky hospital :) We had loads of fun and learnt a lot of interesting techniques, and now....I need to buy more stuff to carry on the fun!!! Sarah xxx

    Oh you poor thing! I had a kidney stone some years back and the pain was just AWFUL, but luckily for me it passed and I never had further problems. Feel better soon but take your time and be gentle with yourself.

    Just wanted to say big thanks to you and your lovely family for the brilliant weekend. I was quite nervous beforehand, but the welcoming atmosphere put me at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I learned loads of stuff and couldn't wait to do more at home.
    It's good to hear that you're on the mend, hope you're back to full health soon.
